Hand-painted Japanese Antique Porcelain Plate

Japanese antique porcelain six-sided footed plate or tray. Hand-painted image of scholar sitting in a garden. Mountain behind him is elegantly depicted with a single line. White base glaze was fired and then the colors were hand-painted and re-fired. Four-point crack in bottom center is only partially visible at the top. No chips in porcelain, but some of the colored over-glaze has flaked. Still an attractive antique piece which could be used as a decorative accent or as a small serving tray.
