Rare Lacquered Chinese Kang or Bench with Scroll Feet

This long low table (kang) or bench, with its intricately carved apron, displays a lustrous dark lacquer finish and slight scrolled feet. Carvings are only on the front apron. Would work beautifully next to a dining table, under a long row of windows, along a long wall, or with a flat screen TV setting on top of or mounted above.
