Antique Chinese Low Buffet Cabinet

This Chinese antique cabinet was used by Jennifer Bertrand in the 2008 season finale of HGTV Design Star. It was used beneath the TV as the focal point from the sofa. It tied in with the homeowner's love of red.

Subtle painting on this antique Chinese buffet cabinet. The wood stain is reddish brown. The scenes are painted in black and are of symbolic trees, mountains and dragon figures. It's low scale allows it to be used as a coffee table in front of a large-scale, over-stuffed sofa. Can also be used to place a TV on or under a wall-mounted, flat-screen TV. Great under a large window or painting. The door are removable and have brass pulls and a brass medallion lock. The drawers also have brass pulls. The side aprons have simple carvings.
