Antique Asian Cabinet - Grain Bin -Sold

This sturdy cabinet features a black lacquered patina finish and is decorated on the front with floral paintings. It has a very substantial character and provides ample storage in its large cabinet and three drawers.

Originally, it was a grain (rice) bin for food storage which opened at the top. It has been modified to open in the front. On the front face of the cabinet, there is a poem or blessing which runs across the top and down the sides.
