Paintings by Louisiana Artist Louise Guidry

A Louisiana native, Louise Guidry has been drawing and painting since early childhood. Painting has been a lifelong pursuit, but Louise was also an elementary school teacher until retiring in 1994. She also taught art classes to children and adults at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, The Senior Art Studio of Lafayette, and private lessons at her home studio. In 1988 she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in painting from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Louise Guidry is an award-winning artist, exhibiting in many prestigious shows throughout the country and abroad.
