2007 Delgado Designer Showhouse

Silk Road Collection decorated this second floor family area with stylish but functional Chinese antiques, side-by-side with contemporary Italian leather chairs, an upholstered “U”-shaped sofa, and a wall-mounted TV-entertainment center. The result, a harmonious blending of old and new styles.

Silk Road Collection was invited to decorate this 2007 Designer Showhouse by the Interior Design Program at Delgado Community College, in conjunction with the American Society of Interior Designers. Working with Donald on this project was Jennifer Babbs -- thanks Jen!

The showhouse is a 2-story, 4-bedroom New Era Homes modular dwelling located in the Lakeview section of New Orleans; an area rebuilding and recovering from the ravages of Hurricane Katrina.
