Kids laughing—yelling Mom!!!! Kids you gotta love ‘em.
So design and decorate their bedroom with love also. A kid’s bedroom is the most important room in their world. Make it a place of safety, security and creativity that will foster their ever-lasting memories.
Decorate using age-appropriate themes & incorporate your child’s favorite colors. Select washable paints & machine washable fabrics.
Select furniture that fits the size of your child but remember they grow quickly. Furniture should have rounded edges to prevent accidents. If for a young child, secure chest and cabinets to the wall so that they can’t be tipped over even when climbed on or when a drawer is sat in.
Fun Stuff: Put glow-in-the-dark stickers on the ceiling, Buy inexpensive unfinished furniture and let them paint it, and place blackboard material on the lower portion of the walls.
Watch for rugs that can trip or floors that can be slipped on.
And cover all electrical wall outlets.
