Antique Low Back Asian Chair

Qing Dynasty antique Chinese low-back arm chair, also called rose chairs. The carved open back is flat as are the arm rests. The apron carving on the back rest is in a floral pattern, perhaps originating the name of "rose chairs.". The apron carving on the front legs is a simple pattern. Stretchers and foot rests are found on the side and back. Finish is dark brown.
