Very lovely, subtle hand-painted Qing Dynasty antique Chinese trunk. The front of the trunk features a scene in an Asian garden with four ladies. The borders are black with gold in leaf and vine patterns. The background is painted brown with the garden and ladies painted in red, gold and green. The top, sides and back are in a light brown patina. The interior of the trunk is natural wood finish. There is a brass latch in the front and each side has a handle for easy moving. It would make an unique coffee or side table.
