Great combination of a Chinese hat rack and wash stand in one nicely carved piece. Traditionally the center circular area would hold a removable wash bowl. Above it is a framed, tiltable mirror (mirror not included). The lower bottom shelf is geometrically fettered. The main table section has a slender drawer on each side of the wash bowl area. The hat rack features the mirror and below it a large panel carved with Chinese characters and spandrels below. On each side of larger panel are two elongated panels of carved "Xs" and a simple center panel. Topping the hat rack is a molding with bouquets of flowers bursting upward from the tips. Dark wood finish. Can be modified to be used today as a bathroom vanity if raised about 10".
