Antique Chinese Sword Leg Table

Antique Chinese side table. Referred to as a "sword leg" table because the bottom of the legs resemble the handle of a sword and the top of the legs the end of the blade where it meets the table's top. A solid apron surrounds the bottom of the table top. Two leg extenders on each side of the table. Notice the mortise and tenon construction where the leg extenders meet the legs. Light brown finish. Would work nicely as a foyer or entrance table, a love seat table or to place a treasured item on.
