Chinese 6-Panel Folding Room Divider Screen

This is a very nice double sided Chinese screen made of six panels. The front of this 6-panel folding screen has a silver background with Chinese characters written in black calligraphy. the characters run from the top of the screen down towards the bottom and each panel has three rows of charaters. The back of this screen is finished a solid black with images of hand painted bamboo stalks in gold.

Bamboo is used to strength and endurance because bamboo can survive the toughest conditions and is green all year round. The plant plays a positive role in encouraging people to stand strong when facing a tough situation. Also symbolizes youth, flexibility, luck, money and good fortune.
