Chinese Lacquered Upright Cabinet with Mother-of-Pearl Inlays

The mother-of pearl inlay and the feminine scenes make this upright cabinet delicate and beautiful, one door and one drawer. The woman and the birds on the side of the cabinet are crafted of simulated jade. The hand-painted images on the top, front and sides are of birds, flowers, gardens, trees and mountains and gold paint filigree. The undercoat is black lacquer.
