Contemporary interpretation of traditional Chinese apothecary cabinet, also referred to as herb chest and medicine cabinet. This cabinet has been crafted for today's needs, to hold CDs and DVDs. Very generous storage in 16 CD drawers and two larger bottom drawers. The camphor wood is naturally repellent to insects and provides a delightful fragrance. In the Chinese tradition, the drawers are labeled as to type of herbal remedy and/or ailment to be cured. Brass pulls on each drawer. Simple curved spandrels between legs.
