Yixing Clay Chinese Teapots

These teapots are made for individual use. They are made with Yixing clay from Jiangsu Province, China. This special clay has been used since the Song Dynasty (960-1279) - it is considered the best clay for teapots.

These teapots are know for their variety of fanciful designs. They are designed to be both utilitarian and beautiful objects. The teapot is unglazed so that the tea will infuse into the body of the teapot and, with use, enhance the flavor of the tea. Price is per teapot.
