Antique Chinese table with a cast iron pan used to burn hot coals to heat a home. The cast iron pan is removable and is in the center of the table top for placing carbon for heating. This table is believed to have been created in the early 1900's in Qinghai, China it is low to the ground like a kang table. This ornate piece of futniture is made from Poplar wood. The table top is hand-painted with decorative designs and symbols in red, black and yellow.
